Audio Quality: What is a Codec? and how do I change my servers codec.
Solution
Codec's allow you to adjust the sound quality for each channel. Higher sound quality means more bandwidth requirements. Typically Broadband users can use the highest codec (Speex 25.9 kbit) and dial-up users should use a low bandwidth codec (CELP 5.1 kbit).
After you login with ServerAdmin you can right click on any channel and click "Edit Channel".
Then pick your desired codec from the drop down box
Next click "Apply" and your codec changes have been made.
